WORK

Hosting the Business Launchpad Awards

I LOVE hosting events! I've presented the Business Launchpad Awards, sponsored by Natwest, and was the main host for Steps to Success in Broadcasting produced by a company named Thandie & Co (which included ITV Newsreader Charlene White on the panel) and also their Steps to Success in Music event, both held at Mother London. I have also hosted events for a youth-focused organisation named 2Inspire which was founded by Hazel Chapiwa, as well as events for the NL PR Agency founded by Natalie Leonna, to name a few.

I also LOVE presenting on the radio (community-based content) mostly for the LIVE elements! I presented a topical, diverse and somewhat controversial show (titled The Real Talk Radio Show UK) which entertained and inspired the many listeners. With presenting, I was blessed with various opportunities and also created a few of my own. Click here for examples of my work.

With my co-host, the late DJ Joe Grime

Photography has been a hobby since I was a child. Early 2017 I decided to save for my first DSLR (Nikon D60) and study with Shaw Academy to learn more about capturing images. Throughout 2018 I offered free photoshoot sessions (still available upon request subject to terms and conditions) to aspiring talents in a bid to create a portfolio and also support those who are not in a position to pay for a professional shoot. I have no intention of turning my hobby into a profession, I simply love to capture raw, natural, abstract, quirky individuals, places and moments. For me, photography is everything when it comes to memories!

After taking a break from social media (mid-2019), I returned to Twitter and Instagram to find that both accounts had been deleted (originally named Charley Real Talk). Accounts that remain inactive for 30 days are permanently deleted. This is not something I was aware of but, I have embraced the opportunity that comes with having to start over (with Instagram as I chose to leave Twitter behind). Across my former platforms, I had a small yet engaged audience who might have been a demographic you had not yet tapped into. I have now begun to rebuild that community of 'Charley Real Talk' supporters so, let's connect and talk about how we can create together!

If you're in need of a hearty, well rounded, confident, experienced, people-person to host your event (I'm super affordable because, I understand the struggle, real talk), or you want to collaborate on a new project for radio, YouTube, your local community, Instagram, or you're in need of some new photo's for your profession, or just for the gram, get in touch!
